Rob

Rob has played with various new wave and touring funk rock bands throughout the 1980’ and 90’s, playing at some of the top national live rock venues of the day, often supporting charting bands as well as doing studio/session bass work, some of which has received air time.

His technique is varied from solid low-end rock, melodic funk/soul, disco groove to percussive fast rhythmic slap to suit the band and song as required, always with the aim of a solid steady groove that you “feel” first and foremost.

After playing and touring in bands for many years, Rob paused live work in the late 1990’s to concentrate on running his business although he continued to do the occasional studio/session work for others when the opportunity presented itself.
