Free Spirit was formed in 2023 by four former members of popular East Midlands party band, THE BUSINESS, with the addition of the super talented Rob Stephens (bass) and rhythm maestro Jon Riley (drums & percussion).
No two events are the same, and we understand that. That's why we create bespoke set lists tailored specifically to suit your preferences and the ambiance you desire. From the moment we start playing, we guarantee an infectious party vibe that will keep the dance floor packed from start to finish and produce an evening that surpasses all expectations.

I saw the band and realised that they would be suitable for a surprise party I was organising for my wife. Their communication was first class and when I asked if they could learn some new songs for the event they went ahead and learned them. The day of the event they set up without fuss. The quality of their performance was amazing. And if you want a good guitar solo their rendition of Guns and Roses ’Sweet Child of Mine’ is not to be missed.
